The fourth generation V35 sedan was replaced by the G37 sedan, exterior and interior remained identical but the engine was upgraded to a 3.7-liter VQ37VHR VVEL V6. The advantage to this engine design is that it improved the torque curve and flattened across the rpm range with the use of Nissan’s new VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift), giving it a better throttle response and low rpm torque.
